Manager / Senior Manager - Crypto Accounting

Type: 3+ months Contract with possibility of extension
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in crypto accounting to lead and enhance our financial reporting and policy framework for digital assets.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, experience drafting and implementing accounting policies, and deep familiarity with the digital assets ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and implement accounting policies for digital assets.
- Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain-based financial instruments.
- Partner with finance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure accurate treatment of digital assets.
- Stay abreast of evolving regulatory and accounting guidance (US GAAP/IFRS) related to crypto.
- Provide thought leadership and training on crypto accounting best practices.
- CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred.
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including policy writing and technical accounting.
- Strong knowledge of the digital assets ecosystem (cryptocurrencies, tokens, DeFi, NFTs, blockchain).
- Experience with Big 4 or financial services/crypto companies is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
