Join Our Caring Team as a Clinical Nurse
As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in fostering a compassionate environment for patients, families, and colleagues through your kindness and exceptional active listening skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document all treatment according to company policy and relevant regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and understand patients' conditions.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to provided care.
- Exercise sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer prescribed medications, both over-the-counter and prescription, as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for each patient.
- Guide and direct ancillary personnel while maintaining high professional nursing standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized nursing program, receiving a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is required.
- Exceptional communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply related problem-solving techniques is a plus.
