The MRI department is eager to welcome highly motivated professionals to work in our fast-paced Level One Trauma Center, where MRI services operate around the clock on three GE High Field Scanners.

Summary:

The MRI Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exams within the hospital setting. You will select optimal software parameters according to established protocols to assist referring physicians in making accurate diagnoses. The role involves preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast media, and accurately adjusting anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of the body.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or an Associate Degree from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) with a focus on medical imaging, preferably MRI.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
