Schedule: First Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $64/hr
Assignment Duration: 1 Year with potential to extend or convert
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to independently develop, coordinate, integrate, and maintain an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and project requirements in accordance with industry project management standards. The ideal candidate will perform detailed studies and analysis-including trend, variance, impact assessments, and risk evaluations-to determine impacts and constraints related to product development, production rates, process improvements, and program initiatives.
Key responsibilities include creating schedules, generating reports and metrics, tracking change activity, and communicating updates throughout the lifecycle of programs or projects. This role also focuses on improving project management processes, implementing best practices, and supporting project decision-makers. The Project Manager will direct all phases of projects or major project subsystems from inception to completion, act as the primary contact for stakeholders, and assist customers in developing performance recovery plans while ensuring all project control systems are effectively in place.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
- Proven ability to develop, integrate, and maintain project schedules and plans
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Aerospace and Defense industry experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency with project management tools and software
