Mechanical Design Engineer – Custom Automation Machines Verona, WI | ~ $90k–$115k+ DOE | Full-Time / Direct Hire We are seeking an experienced Machine Designer to join our custom automation team. In this role, you’ll design unique machines from scratch, create detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor, and manage projects from concept through release. What You’ll Do Design 3D models, drawings, and BOMs for custom automation equipment. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Present designs, delegate tasks, and review drawings. Support assembly, troubleshoot, and ensure on-time delivery. Requirements Strong understanding of machine design fundamentals. Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, motor sizing, and basic controls. Familiarity with fluid dynamics and vacuum/blower system design. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred BS in Mechanical Engineering (3+ yrs) OR AS in Machine Design Technology (6+ yrs). Experience with FEA, field service, or machine assembly/debug. Autodesk Vault knowledge. Details Salary: ~ $90,000 – $115,000+ DOE (direct hire with benefits). Hours: M–F, 8 AM–5 PM (overtime ~5 hrs/wk). Location: Onsite in Verona, WI. Travel: None. Sponsorship: Not available. ?
