Join an incredible team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) We offer daily pay opportunities and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000. This position is part of the 1199 Union.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff assigned to your shift.
  • Implement and communicate policies, practices, and objectives to ensure outstanding resident care.

The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and Nursing has 158 beds, including a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Gym catering to 60 short-term residents. This environment offers ample opportunities for learning and professional growth.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills aligned with regulatory standards.
  • A cooperative team player, able to work with diverse staff members.
  • Capable of functioning independently and under supervision when necessary.
  • Effective communication with physicians, supervisors, and fellow staff.
  • Leadership skills to take charge in the absence of the Unit Manager.
  • Proactive in seeking interventions to enhance resident care.
  • Flexibility to adapt to special staffing or clinical situations.
  • Maintenance of privacy and confidentiality regarding resident information.
  • Strong organizational skills and computer literacy.
