Compensation: $115,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule: Day Shift

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Nursing Leadership Assistant Director to join our team at The Pines at Utica. You will play a vital role in coordinating daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for our residents, and leading a committed team of nurses and aides to deliver outstanding service.

Your Impact:

As the Nursing Leadership Assistant Director, you’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to set and reach clinical objectives that align with our core mission. Your leadership will significantly enhance our care standards, promote resident well-being, and enrich our facility's culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct nursing operations, including staffing, training, and quality assurance.
  • Inspire and mentor a dedicated team of nursing and healthcare professionals.
  • Support the development and execution of individualized care plans and protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident care.
  • Act as the operational link between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
  • Ensure exceptional care is consistently delivered to our residents.
  • Participate in quality assurance and compliance monitoring to meet regulatory standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in nursing care.

Your Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State RN nursing license.
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • A strong commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in patient delivery.
  • A visionary approach to healthcare focused on innovation and quality improvement.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient interactions.
  • An interest in addressing the nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill.
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in a nursing leadership role in Long-Term Care or a similar healthcare environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adeptness in working effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
