Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Director of Infrastructure and Operations to join their team. The Director of Infrastructure and Operations will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and success of our small, innovative company specializing in airborne 3D lidar mapping systems. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust infrastructure that enables our technical team to thrive and deliver cutting-edge solutions to our commercial and government clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the physical infrastructure of our operations, including building maintenance, security, lease management, and facility expansions.
  • Create and implement comprehensive employee policies and procedures that foster a positive and productive work environment while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and contracts. Develop and maintain a robust export compliance program.
  • Security Management: Act as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) to administer personnel security programs and maintain compliance with DoD security clearance requirements.
  • Manage insurance coverage and optimize risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee relationships with external consultants and contractors, including those providing financial, tax, and legal services.
  • Contribute to vendor selection and management to ensure the reliable acquisition of subcomponents for our low-rate manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in infrastructure management, facilities operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations, particularly FAR and DFARS.
  • Experience with personnel security programs and DoD security clearance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
