URGENT HIRING Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description: Are you a compassionate and dependable LPN looking for flexible work hours and meaningful one-on-one care opportunities? We have an urgent need for LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse in Savannah area with open availability and willing to travel to Richmond Hill or Hinesville area. This is an ideal role for LPN's who want flexibility, autonomy, and the reward of making a difference in patients’ daily lives all while providing high-quality skilled care in home settings. Responsibilities: * Perform re-assessments and supervisory visits * Implement plan of care and treatment using sound judgment and critical thinking * Provide accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing process * Prepare, administer, and appropriately document actions taken specific to the commonly prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications. Observe, reports, and record adverse reactions to medications and/or treatment to the registered nurse * Perform wound care and recognize the need for and institute emergency measures in a rapid and appropriate manner * Perform all skill, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adheres to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency * Treat clients, family, and staff with courtesy and respect * Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality * Ability to be organized and focused on tasks assigned Qualifications: * Graduated from National League of Nursing accredited practical or vocational school of nursing * Unencumbered license as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in the state that care is being provided * One (1) year of nursing experience required; homecare experience preferred. * Certified CPR * Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance * Negative TB test or recent TB Blood test Job Type:Per diem, Contract, Part-time, PRN If you’re passionate about providing exceptional home care and want a job that fits your schedule, we’d love to meet you Apply todayor contact us at843-738-0506 or email us atCody.Porras@brightstarcare.com– recruitment coordinatorfor more information.
