Your Role:
As the Operating Room Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing departmental activities, collaborating with both hospital and corporate systems to ensure that patient care is efficient, cost-effective, and of the highest quality. You will manage the operational aspects of the department, including scheduling staff and ensuring that both personnel and equipment are readily available to meet patient needs. Your responsibilities will include hiring personnel, administering disciplinary actions, and conducting annual performance reviews. In this position, you will serve as an expert clinical resource and uphold the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
Your Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Nurse Manager role.
- Current CPR certification.
- Appropriate certifications as mandated by the department.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
