Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Ballwin, MO.Role and Responsibilities:
- Significant contributor with month end closing
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and analyses
- Oversee intercompany account balancing
- Work with HR team on various payroll and benefit matters
- Submit monthly borrowing base documents; Become the liaison between the bank and plants on borrowing base documents
- Work with FAS fixed asset reporting and tracking system
- Prepare audit schedules and variance explanations
- Assist with daily banking activity
- Assist VP of Finance with the investigation and resolution of various compliance and tax matters
- Assist with annual insurance renewal process and assume role as point person for day-to-day insurance matters
- Prepare and distribute various internal and external reports
- Perform special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- 3 to 5+ years relevant experience
- Month-end close experience
- Tax experience
- Self-starter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Oracle and/or IQMS experience a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
