Department: Radiology - CT

Description:
A healthcare facility in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking an experienced Travel CT Scan Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The technologist will perform diagnostic CT procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations, supporting radiologists and adhering to departmental protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years CT experience

  • Certifications:

    • State license (AZ)

    • BLS required

  • EMR experience: Cerner required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized CT scans, including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures

  • Administer studies with or without contrast media as appropriate

  • Maintain proficiency in CT system processing and sterile techniques for surgical procedures

  • Support fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm, and OR imaging as needed

  • Float to other areas of radiology as required

  • Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety throughout procedures
