Home Caregiver
Pay Rate: 18.75 - 21.25/Hr

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

In Home CAREGiver Responsibilities Include:

Companionship Care
  • Conversation and socialization
  • Standby Assistance
  • Preparing Meals
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Accompanying clients to appointments
  • Performing light housekeeping
Personal Care
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming and toileting
  • Incontinence Care
Specialized Services which could include
  • Hospice Care
  • Alzheimer's/Dementia Care
  • Bed Bound Clients
  • Non-Ambulatory Clients
Requirements
  • Demonstrate compassion, reliability and trustworthiness
  • Proactive individual that is a self-starter
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a positive and friendly manner
  • Registered Home Care Aide (HCA), CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA). If you are not registered, we can assist you with the process
  • Negative TB test (within the last 90 days), criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Valid Driver's license and Car insurance (non drivers may apply and will be considered based on client needs)
