Job Description
Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Certifications: RD/RDN required
Must-Have:
- Experience in Short Term Acute Care work setting
- Experience with patient diagnoses in Med/Surg, Pulmonary, Cardiac Med Surg, oncology, and more
- Cerner EMR experience
- COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted if medical or religious)

Description:
The position requires a Registered Dietitian to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Candidates should be ready to assist other dietitians with workload if they have a lighter day.
Weekend work is required, typically every third weekend, depending on staffing availability.
The candidate may be asked to float to meet facility needs.
Short Term Acute Care experience is essential.
Knowledge of cardiovascular, endocrine/metabolic, gastrointestinal, and renal conditions is necessary.
Experience with laboratory monitoring and interventions is also required.
Candidates should be proficient in nutrition assessments and developing treatment plans.
The daily patient ratio is managed within a busy acute care setting, requiring strong teamwork skills.
Candidates must possess various skills related to dietary management and treatment of diverse patient populations.
The role emphasizes the importance of maintaining compliance with health regulations and organization protocols.
Adherence to dietary guidelines and managing therapeutic diet orders is crucial.
This position is suitable for those with a solid background in managing nutrition-related needs for adults and geriatrics.
