Job Description

Mortgage Loan Underwriter

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Loan Underwriter to join our team in Nashville. As a Mortgage Loan Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan applications to ensure they meet all relevant guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze loan applications to determine creditworthiness
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
  • Evaluate the risk level of loans
  • Verify income, employment, and financial information
  • Communicate with loan officers and applicants to gather additional information
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter
  • Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and regulations
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
