Summary:
As an Engineering Program Specialist, your top priority will be partnering with Technical Program Managers to deliver hardware to cross-functional team(s) on time to support product development. This role requires strong communication skills and attention to details as you will be working with large cross-functional teams both internally and externally. Managing and keeping track of information are extremely critical to the success of this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect allocation requests and manage distribution logistics
  • Support budget management and forecasting
  • Manage procurement and keep track of Purchase Orders
  • Manage multiple programs concurrently

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Specialist or similar role in consumer electronics
  • Experience in hardware development, worked with vendors domestically and internationally
  • Experience managing complex spreadsheets, accounting tools, coordinating across different teams, vendors and time zones
  • Experience working with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and FATP (Final Assembly, Test and Pack) contract manufacturers

Good to have skills:
  • Experience working with Bill of Materials (BOMs) and/or FATP Build Matrices
  • Story Behind the Need Business Group & Key Projects: EPC will sit within the TPM org and will help support AI Glasses program(s) on prototype allocation and distribution, budget tracking and forecasting, and other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Compelling Story & Candidate Value Proposition: The project is hardware based- management of the development of the exciting hardware that is building
  • New types of technology that will excite the world

Education/Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $49.00 - $59.20 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
