About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicatedPart Time, Weekend Only, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitionerto join our team. As a vital member of our inpatient psychiatric consult service, you'll have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to individuals with a range of psychiatric conditions, helping them stabilize, heal, and build the foundation for long-term recovery.

What You'll Do:

• Psychiatric consultations on Medical Floors and Emergency Departments

• Participate in call and weekend rotations to support patient needs

• Will have the support of a collaborating psychiatrist

About Our Program:

Becker's Hospital Review recognized Virtua Health as one of 60 hospitals or health systems with exceptional psychiatry and behavioral health programs. The publication noted our "robust spectrum of behavioral health services across South Jersey, anchored by 70 inpatient beds and supported by a team of more than 60 certified behavioral health professionals."

In addition to inpatient psychiatric care, our program also provides:

• Outpatient mental health treatment with psychiatrists, advanced nurse practitioners, and licensed clinical social workers who are embedded within 28 primary care offices

• CASTLE pediatric behavioral health program, including outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient therapy, partial hospitalization, and a therapeutic nursery for kids ages 3 to 4

• Advanced interventional psychiatry providing treatments such as electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation.

• Substance use disorder treatment through our Medication for Addiction Treatment program

• Perinatal mood and anxiety disorder program

Compensation:

• The starting salary for this position is: $53,000.00 (annually).
  The actual compensation package could vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
