Within this team, the Portfolio Management group plays a critical role, guided by Industry-Specific Portfolio Directors who align delivery efforts with Oracle's leading practices. Together, we ensure our talent and processes are primed for customer success and industry-leading project outcomes.

The Delivery Excellence organization is excited to announce an open Portfolio Management position to drive impactful change. As a Portfolio Manager, you will take ownership of managing and growing an existing portfolio of projects in one of the following industries: Manufacturing, Distribution, Healthcare, Services, Higher Education, or Public Sector.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead with energy and expertise: Guide a diverse portfolio of projects within your industry, achieving project, quality, and financial objectives.

  • Champion Delivery Excellence: Foster collaboration, drive results, and ensure alignment among Project Managers and Delivery Leaders.

  • Set the standard for innovative leadership: Promote continuous improvement within your portfolio, while sharing a common vision with other portfolio leaders.

  • Grow and develop talent: Participate in hiring and onboarding outstanding professionals and serve as a coach and mentor within your portfolio's team.

  • Engage stakeholders: Collaborate with practice leaders, sales teams, and clients to define and deliver strategic project outcomes.

  • Oversee execution: Ensure effective planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects and programs in line with organizational best practices.

  • Monitor and report on project financial performance: Track budgets, forecasts, costs, and financial metrics across your portfolio, ensuring accurate reporting and prompt action to address any variances.

  • Drive performance: Provide regular portfolio reporting, identify risks, and ensure delivery of quality outcomes for your industry clients.

  • Ensure compliance: Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Who You Are:

  • A strategic, motivating leader with a demonstrated passion for excellence and innovation in project portfolio management.

  • Experience leading project and program management within a consulting firm or related industry environment.

  • Proven ability to deliver results, manage complex project portfolios, and influence teams in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

  • Adept at building and nurturing high-performing teams-through both coaching and hands-on leadership.

  • Excellent communicator with robust stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Oracle solutions.

  • In-depth understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS best practices, with an ability to apply them strategically.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project, portfolio, and delivery management with a proven record of high-quality outcomes.

  • Preferred expertise in a specific industry vertical.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. An MBA is preferred.

  • PMP, PgMP, PfMP, or other professional PM certification strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
