Highlights:
This is a non-paneled position providing in-person medical care focused on preoperative evaluations for patients needing medical assessments.
Scope of Practice:
- Partner with APC and anesthesia to maximize medical management (HTN, CKD, CAD, DM, COPD, etc.) with appropriate diagnostic testing and referral to specialists if indicated.
- New department, offering a unique opportunity to build the program from the ground up.
Additional Information
- MD/DO; Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Formal peri- op training (online or in person course work/training) in addition to standard residency training.
