This is not a desk job-it's an active role for someone who likes to be on their feet and move. As a Record Center Specialist, you are the backbone of the operation, ensuring valuable materials are correctly stored and retrieved for our client.
Shift Details:
This is a full-time position working 5 days a week, 8:00am to 6:00pm (9 hours per day).
Your day includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks.
Responsibilities:
Heavy Lifting and Moving: You'll be the master of material movement, manually lifting, arranging, and loading storage boxes, bins, and totes. Weights can range from 24 lbs up to 100 lbs (without assistance) on a regular basis.
Physical Navigation: This is a very physical job. You'll be standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting while moving materials???sometimes up and down inclines, stairs, and over various surfaces.
Operating Equipment: Safely and effectively loading and operating hand trucks and pallet jacks to move large quantities of materials.
Order Processing: Accurately processing orders, moving materials (files, books, binders, tapes, etc.), and using a proprietary computer system and handheld scanner to track and locate items.
Warehouse Duties: Building and safely wrapping pallets for shipment, both at ground level and on carts. You'll also be climbing and balancing on ladders to access materials.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Any previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or physically demanding job (e.g., loading, stocking, or moving heavy items).

Perform continuous and demanding physical tasks: walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
Regularly lift and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance for prolonged periods.

Comfortably and safely climb and balance on ladders.
Operate and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.
Read and write in English to process orders and track materials.
Safety Requirement: For your protection, steel, composite, or alloy safety-toe footwear is mandatory (no tennis shoes allowed).
