A member of Catholic Health, Good Samaritan University Hospital, is a non-profit 537- bed (including 100 nursing home beds) teaching hospital and a member of Catholic Health. With almost 900 physicians on staff, and a level I Trauma Center, we care for well over 100,000 patients annually across the south shore of Long Island. Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and imitative.
- The technologists will produce and evaluate CT images for technical quality, properly identifies images and patient and effectively uses judgment for protocols and procedures.
- Medication oversight which includes documentation of delivery of contrast media.
- Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology
- ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; certified to inject contrast
- 1 year experience working as a Diagnostic Technologist required
- Knowledge and working experience in Computerized Axid Tomography preferred
- BLS required- American Heart Association only accepted
Posted Salary Range
USD $52.66 - USD $65.52 /Yr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
