As a Locum Physician specializing in General Medicine, you will provide essential assessments that support our nation's heroes. This position offers you the chance to work on a PRN basis, delivering meaningful contributions with a competitive hourly pay rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans.
• Perform interview-based evaluations complemented by physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Work independently at your own or assigned office locations, primarily on a PRN basis.
• Complete exams efficiently within allocated time frames and submit comprehensive reports and addendums.
• Maintain compliance with all required documentation and administrative tasks.

Required Skills:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas.
• Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, orthopedics, or similar fields.
• Strong assessment and interview skills.
• Ability to perform physical exams and document findings accurately.
• Commitment to timely and thorough report submission.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with VA or military-related assessments.
• Familiarity with compensation and pension examinations.
• Certifications relevant to veteran healthcare assessments.
• Prior telehealth or remote evaluation experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree with valid licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general or internal medicine.
• Previous experience with disability and veteran assessments is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Local candidates only; travel included in rates.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.
• Willingness to complete training and onboarding promptly.
• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus on evaluations only.
• Availability for ongoing, PRN work on an as-needed basis.
