- Be central to MDOT's efforts in achieving ITD/CVISN Level 1 compliance, integrating commercial vehicle registration, permitting, and enforcement functions.
- Engage in operational management over 500 Windows and Linux-based servers, enhancing systems with your expertise in VMware, Cisco, Oracle, and more.
- Lead troubleshooting and management for a range of systems including Dell/EMC storage, Cisco UCS servers, and virtual infrastructures.
- Attend monthly architecture meetings, providing forward-thinking guidance and support.
- Take the helm in data retrieval and analytics, distributing insights to vital MDOT decision-making divisions.
- Solid 8 years of experience with Department of Transportation oversize and overweight permitting regulations.
- Proficiency in commercial vehicle rules and enforcement processes.
- Expertise in the architecture and application of CVIEW data exchange, supporting ITD/CVISN Level 1 compliance.
- Experience steering IT projects within the public sphere, particularly within state government realms.
- Astute ability to manage multi-faceted IT infrastructure, including Sun server platforms and Oracle databases.
