Job Summary and Qualifications

  • As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), you will support patient care in the perioperative environment by assisting surgeons and nursing staff throughout surgical procedures. This is a fast-paced environment focused on clinical excellence, where your contributions significantly impact patient lives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a sterile environment.
  • Prepare the Operating Room by setting up sterilized instruments and assisting with patient positioning.
  • Support the surgical team with instrument handling, fluid management, and equipment preparation.
  • Implement accurate counting techniques for surgical tools and sponges.
  • Assist in the safe transport and transfer of patients.
  • Follow safety procedures meticulously.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Certified Surgical Technician experience is required.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST) or equivalent, such as a Technician in Surgery (NCCT), or relevant vocational training.
  • Robotics experience is advantageous.
