About The Position

 We are seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician (DO or MD) for a locum tenens opportunity at a multi-specialty clinic in Wisconsin. This assignment requires coverage for 40-hour weeks, Monday through Friday, starting 12/22/2025, for a duration of 120 days. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including those with substance abuse issues, behavioral health concerns, endocrinology needs, and diabetes. This position offers a stable schedule and the opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a clinic setting. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of adult medical conditions, managing chronic diseases, and collaborating with specialists as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients

Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

Manage chronic diseases, including diabetes and endocrine disorders

Address substance abuse and behavioral health issues

Perform routine health screenings and preventive care

Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR system

Ensure patient satisfaction and quality of care

Adhere to clinic policies and procedures

Additional Information:

Must be licensed to practice in Wisconsin

Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential

Experience in treating substance abuse and behavioral health patients preferred
