Role: QA Lead

Location: Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL - hybrid onsite (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the overall QA strategy, covering both manual and automated testing.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage QA engineers across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and establish test coverage.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvements in QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Establish and track quality metrics to measure testing effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Partner with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advocate for quality standards and best practices across the SDLC.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 3+ years in a lead/managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with API testing, performance testing, and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of security and compliance testing.
