Vermeer All Roads in Annapolis Junction, MD is hiring an Experienced Shop Mechanic/Field Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer machinery and components inside our dealership. This full-time position offers a hands-on shop environment with variety, paid training, and clear advancement opportunities, with a focus on completing safe, professional, and on-time repairs.
Compensation & Schedule
• Hourly pay: $25-$40 (based on experience)
• Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates
• Production bonuses available
• Full-time schedule with flexibility - no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions (hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems)
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare accurate cost estimates (CDK experience a plus)
• Maintain detailed and accurate repair records and documentation
• Stay current with industry and technical advancements
• Communicate with the factory for technical support
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and hydrostatics
• Welding experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
