SME Logistics LLC, a subsidiary of SME Industries Inc., is seeking experienced dedicated flatbed truck drivers. We transport fabricated steel from our fabrication facilities to construction sites across various states, ensuring a balance between work and home life for our drivers.

Job Type: Full-time

As a driver with SME Logistics, you can expect:

  • Starting pay of 0.63 CPM based on practical miles (loaded and empty). Pay increases occur at milestone intervals: 0.65 CPM at 6 months, 0.68 CPM at 12 months, 0.69 CPM at 3 years, and 0.70 CPM at 5 years.
  • An additional $50.00 for tarping back-haul loads when required.
  • Hourly pay starting at $25.00 in Utah and $28.00 in Arizona for loads less than 100 miles, along with mileage pay.
  • A $100.00 bonus for a clean safety inspection.

Driving/Hiring Area: Our operations involve hauling fabricated steel from locations to construction sites primarily in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Local moves are often available in Arizona and Utah. Flexibility is key, as loads may require travel to other locations in the U.S.

Requirements:

  • CDL Class A license.
  • At least 2 years of experience driving a CMV tractor-trailer (flatbed preferred).
  • No more than 2 moving violations within the past 12 months.
  • No speeding violations of 15 MPH or more in the last 3 years.
  • Zero incidents of rollovers or abandonment.
  • Able to secure freight by hand.
  • Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
