The job:
As our Material Handler, your primary role will be to support the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and PCB assembly production areas by accurately storing, issuing, and tracking electronic components, kits, and finished goods. You will be responsible for ensuring materials are properly prepared and available to keep SMT lines running efficiently, in accordance with company standards. You will prepare and issue production kits for SMT and assembly work orders per the pick list or bill of material. You will conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory reconciliation. You will be required to adhere to all safety, ESD, and quality control procedures required in PCB assembly operations.
The skills, education, and experience you need:
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Be familiar with component labeling, barcoding, or feeder setup for SMT lines
- Have knowledge of electronic equipment, preferably in the PCB industry
- Have with cycle counting, warehousing, and inventory
