Job Title: Driver

Position Summary:
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting program participants to and from community locations, medical appointments, and other destinations as needed. This role requires attentiveness to participant safety, vehicle maintenance, and effective communication with staff to meet individual participant needs.

The Position: Our client is seeking a Driver to join their team in Lowell, MA

Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License (state of residence)
  • Minimum 5 years of safe driving experience
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and DOT-mandated driver training
  • Ability to assist and maneuver participants in wheelchairs
  • COVID-19 vaccine required
  • Mandarin speaking required
Responsibilities:
  • Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • No nights, weekends, or holidays
  • Safely transport participants to and from medical appointments and community activities
  • Assist participants with boarding/exiting vehicles
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety checks
  • Report incidents, injuries, falls, or accidents immediately
  • Support staff with local activities and other duties as needed
