Job Description

Responsible for the evaluation, diagnosing, and repair of aircraft components including basic avionics systems, fuel pumps, landing gear, and oxygen systems. The primary focus will be on the oxygen system shop, handling gauges, helmets, tubes, and bags of the system itself. The role involves using diagnostic tools to determine issues and planning repairs accordingly, as well as entering data using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose aircraft components.

• Repair basic avionics systems, fuel pumps, landing gear, and oxygen systems.

• Work primarily with the oxygen system shop, dealing with gauges, helmets, tubes, and bags.

• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.

• Enter data into computer systems.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of mechanical experience.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Knowledge of repair, aircraft sheet metal, mechanical and electrical systems.

• Troubleshooting and aviation maintenance skills.

• Ability to pass a Safety Sensitive drug test.

Nice to have.

• Experience in aviation.

• Experience with avionics systems.

Work Environment

The work schedule is on the 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM with minimal overtime. Employees will work in a very clean and climate-controlled environment, each provided with their own workbench and work uniforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
