Senior HR Operations Representative - EBS / Workday / ServiceNow
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Senior HR Operations Representative to join their HR Connect team. In this key role, you'll serve as a second-tier HR support expert, resolving complex employee inquiries and executing high-impact HR transactions. You'll operate within a collaborative, fast-paced shared services environment, helping to streamline HR operations across the U.S. and Canada.
From Workday transactions to policy clarification, your expertise will ensure service delivery remains compliant, consistent, and timely. You'll also play a critical role in knowledge sharing, compliance reporting, and system enhancement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a second-level resource in HR Connect, resolving complex inquiries across Workday, ServiceNow, and related systems.
- Process advanced HR transactions including terminations, job changes, organizational updates, and anniversary awards.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, state/provincial, and federal employment regulations.
- Provide accurate information on HR policies, procedures, and benefit programs to employees and leaders.
- Manage CA-specific transactions such as leave processing and DOT process management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve escalations and transfer knowledge across HR teams.
- Support payroll coordination by ensuring HR transactions and documentation are submitted before payroll deadlines.
- Enter and maintain detailed case records in the case management system to ensure a seamless handoff between team members.
- Backup phone and ticket triage responsibilities for incoming HR inquiries.
- Assist with projects, audits, SOP documentation, and continuous process improvements.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR operations, shared services, or HRIS support role.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
- Experience using ServiceNow or another case management/ticketing platform.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance practices (U.S. and/or Canada).
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Prior experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian HR transactions.
- Familiarity with DOT compliance processes.
- Background in payroll coordination or exposure to time & attendance systems.
- Experience creating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
