Senior Analyst, Asset Management
Location: Plano, TX
Salary: $75 per hour, DOE

Overview
A leading organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Management Analyst to support fixed-asset accounting operations. This role focuses on maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, performing asset lifecycle activities, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently, and brings strong analytical precision.

What You'll Do

* Manage fixed-asset accounting processes, policies, and procedures

* Maintain and update the fixed-asset register with accuracy

* Support quarterly and annual asset confirmation activities

* Record and monitor asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals

* Perform depreciation calculations and asset valuations

* Review and analyze fixed-asset financial statements and reports

* Prepare detailed management reports and variance explanations

* Assist in budgeting and forecasting related to capital assets

* Partner with cross-functional teams on capital planning

* Coordinate tagging and tracking of assets with IT and operations teams

* Support internal and external audit requests

* Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in asset records

* Implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls

* Maintain documentation for policies and procedures

* Administer leased asset records and lease accounting activities

Job Requirements

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves):

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting
* 5+ years of professional experience in accounting
* Hands-on experience with fixed assets and asset lifecycle management
* Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems
* Strong analytical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Reliable, proactive, and highly organized self-starter
* Strong time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities independently

Added bonus if you have (Preferred):
• Understanding of the automobile industry.
• CPA.
