Title: Senior SAP MDG/ABAP Developer - Remote
Location: 100% Remote - Open to US time zones as long they are comfortable working in EST time zone

Duration: 5 Months

Schedule: 40 hours M-F 8-5 Standard, some OT possible with pre-approval, based on project need.

Role Purpose
  • Candidate in this role should have hands-on knowledge in SAP MDG and/ or MDG Specific ABAP technologies with respect to MDG-C / MDG-S / MDG-M / MDG consolidation. Exposure to other SAP applications developments (CDS Views, ODATA) are added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
  • The person in this position will be experienced in managing and completing successful projects as a team member and demonstrates business process knowledge in data migration, governance, and developments.
  • The person in this position will work individually with less mentorship and report to the team leads toa apply their cumulative knowledge, skills, and ability to solve day to day business problems.
  • This person will be a key contributor to the project at different phases including discovery, solution generation, design, and the detailing of the overall process.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues within our customer service-level agreements.
  • Translate Business User functional requests requirements to build technical objects utilizing best practices.
  • Able to perform under pressure during times like a system down situation.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Conduct working sessions with business users as required.
  • Able to work with Basis team during troubleshooting providing guidance when required.
  • The ability to research and apply OSS notes as required to resolve issues.
  • Will need to become proficient in working within our ticketing system - ServiceNow.
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to manage work with minimal supervision.
  • Will work with operations team in support break/fix activities as well as some project work.
  • Will be in an on-call rotation supporting team / organization
  • Expected to meet SLA commitments defined by IT and agreed upon by the organization.
  • Needs to be a self-starter and able to work independently following Client established coding guidelines.
  • Analyze software requirements to determine design feasibility.
  • MDG & ABAP experience - combined Must Have
  • Someone who has hands-on with SAP MDG Global implementation with multiple Go-lives
  • At least 2 SAP MDG implementation in S4 HANA - preferably Global
  • Strong ABAP experience required
  • Must have worked with all MDG domains (supplier, customer, Material & Finance Master)
  • SAP MDG Techno-Functional or SAP MDG Developer background will work
  • Currently using SAP On-premise
  • No Lead experience for this role
Experiences/Education - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree required, in Computer Science field preferred
  • Minimum High School Diploma with 12 years minimum in SAP and then Associates/Bachelor's preferred
  • Associate's degree minimum required, with at least 7-10+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in SAP
  • Minimum of 2-5 years' with MDG - S/4 Implementation
  • Ability to apply configuration of SAP Master Data objects in SAP MDG & S/4
  • Ability to apply SAP MDG Master Data workflows, Governance models and BRF+ Rules.
  • Ability to hands-on SAP Development work and direct on SAP Technical Team.
  • SAP Development Experience on S/4, MDG, Fiori, ABAP, Workflow, BRF+ Rules, SOA services, BADI's / OO ABAP.
  • Write SAP MDG BPD, FSD, TSD's for RICEFW objects and Code, Configurations of MDG WRICEF objects.
  • At least two SAP HANA Capability implementation or migration carrying out lead responsibilities.
  • Ability of Influence and collaborate all levels of the organization including business and IT
  • Experience working with functional areas like SAP MM, SD, FI from the master data standpoint.
  • Experience in using address validation via HANA smart Data quality, and MDG Consolidation process.
  • Experience / Knowledge in Cutover activities / E2E integration testing.
  • Experience in Defining Replication model & BADI usage for SOA services and SOA manger Configurations.
  • Configure and Extend MDG workflows to automate data validation, approvals, and Change management processes, leveraging SAP Business workflow, or SAP workflow management.
  • Provide technical support for the SAP MDG system.
  • Experience in Configuration, programming, debugging, and testing of the MDG application and understand how to troubleshoot data discrepancies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to present analytics findings to various business teams.
  • Self-Motivated and resourceful, good interpersonal, communication, presentation skills and comply to work ethics and integrity.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with BTP
  • Experience in SAP Solution Manager - CHARM and Focused build for Release Management
