Pharmacy Operations Supervisor

Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities, ensuring smooth workflow and an exceptional patient experience. You will be a certified pharmacy technician working full-time.
You will be responsible for:
- Operating pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
- Supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers in line with company policies and regulations.
- Selecting, scheduling, and developing pharmacy technician personnel, while providing training and coaching.
- Engaging customers by greeting them, assisting with products and services, and resolving complaints to enhance the customer experience.
- Assisting pharmacists with patient care delivery, including registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications, under supervision.
- Managing pharmacy workflow, scheduling daily activities, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy.
- Driving operational excellence and implementing new technologies and processes.
- Communicating prescription errors to the pharmacist and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Managing pharmacy inventory and facilitating annual preparations.
- Collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager to improve financials and service quality.
- Leading performance management of pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
- Maintaining up-to-date certifications and enhancing personal professional development.

In this role, you will also communicate effectively with the pharmacy team and participate in essential meetings to support overall operational success.
