Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Hematology / Oncology Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Chemotherapy Shift / Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-hour shifts Hours: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology RN experience Travel nursing experience required Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) Chemotherapy Certification (ONS / ONCC Advanced) Charting System: Epic EMR experience required Patient Population / Diagnoses: Care for patients with all cancer diagnoses Includes malignant and non-malignant hematologic conditions Unit Details / Responsibilities: Administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy in an outpatient setting Patient assessment, education, and symptom management Adherence to oncology safety standards and protocols Important Location Restriction: Facility does not contract travelers residing in the following Texas counties : Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris HonorVet Technologies Job ID 31623285.
