Sr. Plumbing Designer Full Time Professional Cincinnati, OH, US Job Summary: Our architecture/engineering services client is currently seeking a Senior Plumbing Designer to lead the design and coordination of plumbing, and mechanical systems for a variety of commercial building types, including civic, education, government, transportation and more. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the mechanical design process from concept through construction documents * Develop plumbing system layouts using Revit and AutoCAD * Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and energy analysis * Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil engineers * Review and mark up shop drawings and submittals * Mentor junior designers and engineers * Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and sustainability goals * Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed Qualifications: * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field * 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for buildings * Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and mechanical design software (e.g., Trane Trace, Carrier HAP) * Strong knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and LEED principles * Excellent communication and coordination skills * PE license preferred but not required GPA prides itself on providing quality, personalized services to its clients and candidates.
