What You'll DoProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the utilities location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utilities facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors to address questions or situations as they arise.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions in the environment, adapting patrol routes or focus as needed based on site activity.
Minimum RequirementsA valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
