QMN currently occupies nine facilities in the Antioch/LaVergne area with over 3000 employeesand GROWING
We are currently seeking candidates for the following positionPurpose Of Position
This position is responsible for the coordination and tracking of material flow through the warehouses for on time and full delivery of production materials.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Maintain and coordinate customer changes with appropriate functions within our organization and understanding implications to warehouse material flow
- Develop and report daily and weekly metrics that summarize key warehouse activity and project status
- Track and drive root cause analysis on warehouse errors and work with supervisor to document counseling needs for warehouse team
- Work with systems to drive process improvement
- Partner with warehouse PE to ensure all work instructions are documented and available for hourly employees, with job aids published
- Communicate daily issues with customers for resolution
- Follow-up on inventory transactions to ensure completion
- Exception management to support unique customer requests
- 3-5 years of similar industry experience
- Understanding of manufacturing order processing flow through an MRP system
- Experience with SAP/Order Management System
- Ability to coordinate and organize projects from inception thru execution
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and use time effectively
- Must be able to conduct and facilitate effective meetings
- Fluent in the use of computers and software programs
- Must possess excellent communication skills at all levels
- Must be able to understand different cultures and develop effective work relationships to get work done
- Hours must be flexible to execute the responsibilities of the position
- Perform administrative functions as needed
- Possess the ability to influence groups without the formal authority to get tasks completed
- Be detailed oriented and meticulous in conducting your work
- Conduct other duties as requested
- Able to sit at desk and use/view computer for prolonged periods of time, up to 8 hours daily
- Able to speak into and use a telephone for prolonged periods, up to 8 hours daily
