THE PERSON:
Manufacturing Technicians operate and maintain machinery, ensuring safety and compliance by adhering to industry standards. Must identify and troubleshoot equipment or process-related issues, possess strong problem-solving skills, and collaborate effectively with other technicians. Expected to participate in initiatives to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste in the manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating and maintaining machinery: Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for setting up, monitoring, and adjusting equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. They must also perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime.
- Ensuring safety and compliance: They must follow safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment. They are also responsible for adhering to industry standards and regulations. Ability to left at least 25lbs
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Must identify and troubleshoot any equipment or process-related issues. They must be resourceful and have strong problem-solving skills to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration and teamwork: Manufacturing You must be able to effectively communicate and work together with other technicians, operators, and engineers in the production process.
- Continuous improvement: You are expected to participate in initiatives to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste in the manufacturing environment.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or production settings is often preferred. Key skills for this role include technical aptitude, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Familiar with all ATE test hardware (Logic Testers, Handlers, Load Boards, & Sockets)
- Proficient in the operation of ATE equipment suchs as testers and handlers
- Familiar with electro-mechanical equipment
- Familiar with Active Thermal Control (ATC) practical application
- Experience working with engineering labs and/or high volume manufacturing test facilities
- Some linux experience
