Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/22/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift pediatric-focused assignment requiring ARRT certification and Epic EMR proficiency. Responsibilities Work in a hospital MRI department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations Primary patient population is pediatric, including neonates, but also includes adults, stroke, and trauma cases Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment, operating 1.5T and 3T magnets Four 10-hour night shifts per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM No on-call requirements Role will include floating to qualified units or campuses as required by facility staffing needs 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR system required Role involves conducting a high volume of pediatric MRI procedures Must be comfortable providing MRI scans for diverse ages, including neonates and pediatric critical care cases Orientation will be provided, with module training required pre-assignment Up to 16 hours for pre-assignment modules is reimbursable upon contract start Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; 100 miles preferred for full pay rate Expect collaborative team environment focused on pediatric care Compliance with facility floating policy for qualified allied health professionals Requirements Current ARRT certification required (ARMRIT not accepted) Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as an MRI Technologist Strong pediatric MRI experience required; prior Children's Hospital experience preferred Proficiency in scanning pediatric, neonatal, stroke, and trauma patients Experience with both GE and Siemens MRI scanners License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-638808.
