Supply Chain Analyst

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team. The Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations. This position involves analyzing inventory, managing purchase orders, and ensuring smooth product delivery. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled in data analysis. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or shortages.
- Create and manage purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Handle unexpected shipping delays, customs issues, or supply disruptions.
- Collect and analyze supply chain data (e.g., lead times, demand patterns, supplier performance).
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess risks related to transportation, sourcing, and inventory management.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in international supply chain (import/export) preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively.
