HR Generalist
Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing day-to-day HR support in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance. This role partners with employees and management to foster a positive work environment and ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
Principle Responsibilities

Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, interviews, and new hire orientation.

Support employee relations efforts by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
-
Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and compliance.

Maintain HR records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
-
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

Participate in HR projects, process improvements, and policy development.
Qualification Requirements
Credentials/Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.

HR Certification preferred.
-
Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.

Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
-
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated exposure to and execution of recruitment processes along with the ability to evaluate and select talent.

Ability to handle all situations in a consistent, professional, and confidential manner.

Knowledge of Human Resource procedures, policies, and legislation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

Possesses the ability to define problems, evaluate situations and draw valid conclusions.

Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with a variety of people.

Able to communicate respectfully with others and work in a team environment.

Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

Must be self-motivated; able to work with little supervision.

Computer skills in Windows environment and HR tracking systems.

Possesses verbal, written communication, and listening skills.

Able to travel if requested.

Pay Range
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 / year
