At H&R Block, our Tax Advisors are trusted financial partners who guide clients through their tax journey with empathy, professionalism, and integrity. In this consultative role, you will work closely with a Client Care Specialist, who ensures clients are fully prepared for their appointments by gathering documents, explaining the process, and setting expectations. Together, you’ll create a seamless and reassuring experience that leaves clients feeling confident, informed, and cared for.

Take a consultative approach by identifying potential tax savings, planning for the future, and informing clients about available H&R Block products and services that may assist with their financial objectives. What You’ll Bring to the Role…

Strong understanding of individual tax return preparation and relevant IRS regulations with minimum of 2 years tax experience.

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment, Income Tax Course or Equivalent and Tax Accountant Assessment 1

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax topics in simple, client-friendly language, assess individual needs through consultative dialogue, and build trusted relationships

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during tax season

Ability to collaborate effectively with Client Care Specialists and other team members

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
Pay Range
$11.00 - $80.00/Hr.
