Your Role Will Include:

  • Leading projects and engaging directly with clients to determine project scope and deliverables.
  • Mentoring junior analysts during client assessments and research projects, contributing to their professional growth.
  • Conducting in-depth security assessments across diverse technologies such as:
    • Web applications and APIs
    • Mobile applications
    • Networks
    • Cloud architecture and configurations
    • Source code analysis
    • Hardware and firmware
  • Creating detailed assessment reports that highlight vulnerabilities, their impact on client assets, and effective remediation strategies.
  • Providing expert advice to clients on best practices and emerging threats.
  • Researching and developing presentations, whitepapers, and other materials on current security topics.
  • Opportunities to participate in events like IoT Village.

What You'll Avoid at ISE:

  • Relying solely on scanners; our assessments focus on finding what automated tools might overlook.
  • Working in isolation; collaboration and communication with clients and the team are key.
  • Writing compliance policies; our emphasis is on practical security solutions.

Your Expertise:

  • 6+ years in security consulting with a strong focus on application/software security.
  • Experience in programming and developing exploits.
  • Familiarity with Unix command line tools and CLI environments.
  • Advanced skills in web and desktop application security, as well as cloud security and architecture.
  • Basic understanding of mobile application security.
  • Knowledge of software vulnerability analysis, code analysis, fuzzing, reverse engineering, cryptographic workflows, and network traffic analysis.
  • Strong client interaction experience in a consultative capacity.
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Public speaking experience.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and helping others succeed.

Desirable Skills (We Can Teach You):

  • Experience in IoT hardware security, network security, red teaming, and AI security.
  • Familiarity with digital rights management and secure software development.
  • Understanding of security policies like SOC2, OWASP ASVA, and GDPR.
  • Experience assessing generative AI technologies and applications.

Compensation:

$115K-$165K based on experience.
