RN - Emergency Department, Part-time eves (11a to 11p)

Position available in Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, Columbia, MD (Requisition #656657).

Schedule: Evening shift 11am?11pm, Part?time 24 hrs per week, 12?hr shift. Employment type: Limited.

Location: Columbia, Maryland.

Salary: $37.13$57.87 per hour.

Position Overview

We are looking for an RN to join our Adult Emergency Department Nursing team. The department has 52 beds (4 fast?track, 5 behavioral health). Nurse/patient ratios are 3:1 or 4:1. The role focuses on Team Nursing and interdisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train the assigned nurse with at least one year of experience as an RN in a hospital setting.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing Program.
  • CPR/BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted).
  • Enrollment in a BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and completion within 5 years for those holding an Associate degree.
Additional Information
  • Nurses hired with an Associates degree must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of the start date.
