Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will focus on the full lifecycle design and development of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for spaceflight and ground support systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in schematic capture, circuit analysis, and component selection, with experience taking designs from concept through production and support.
Responsibilities
-
Design and develop complex PCBs for spaceflight and ground systems.
-
Perform schematic capture and circuit analysis using industry-standard tools.
-
Select components with consideration for reliability, availability, and radiation tolerance.
-
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure design integration.
Essential Skills
-
10+ years in electrical engineering, primarily focused on design.
-
Proficient in PCB design and development.
-
Experience with Altium and schematic capture.
-
Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and other lab equipment.
-
Familiarity with high-speed digital design concepts, FPGA, and DDR SDRAM.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BS EE).
-
Experience in aerospace/aviation or other regulated environments preferred.
-
Understanding of MIL Spec requirements.
-
Experience in embedded systems design and development.
Work Environment
The work environment involves a smaller team, providing the opportunity to work on the full product lifecycle. Currently, there are more programs than engineers on staff, allowing for a dynamic and challenging work setting. Products are launched into space every four weeks, with applications in multiple programs including lunar and Mars missions. This position offers the chance to design products that will quickly make their way into space.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
