I am collaborating with a renowned global construction firm in search of a highly experienced Lead Project Manager to oversee large-scale, intricate projects from inception to completion. This influential role involves providing strategic direction, nurturing executive-level client relationships, and leading a dynamic team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and support personnel.

The Lead PM will be instrumental in ensuring successful project outcomes while simultaneously driving business growth, financial performance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for significant projects and programs, cultivating and sustaining robust client partnerships.
  • Oversee multiple, complex projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and adherence to the highest quality standards.
  • Provide strategic oversight throughout all project phases:
  • Preconstruction: guide team selection, contract negotiations, budgeting, cost control strategies, schedule development, and permitting processes.
  • Construction: manage contractors, procurement, risk assessment, quality control, safety measures, and project execution.
  • Closeout: supervise project closeout procedures, guaranteeing full compliance and utmost client satisfaction.
  • Drive project financial performance, including forecasting, reporting, and profitability analysis.
  • Mentor and guide Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and support staff, promoting collaboration and a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with company leadership on business development initiatives, engaging clients, supporting proposals, and exploring new opportunities.
  • Anticipate challenges, devise effective solutions, and identify opportunities to enhance client value.
  • Deliver project performance insights directly to the Office Manager and the executive leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees or professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED are preferred).
  • Over 10 years of experience managing various building types and large-scale construction projects through all stages.
  • Proven success in leading multi-million-dollar projects and coordinating multiple teams.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust among stakeholders.
  • Business-minded individual with expertise in financial management, contract administration, and strategic planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and other relevant project management tools.
  • A proactive and visionary leader dedicated to achieving outstanding results and fostering high-performing teams.
