As a Locum OB Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, high-quality care for mothers and babies, contributing to the well-being of the community while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Required Skills:
  • Valid medical license to practice in California
  • Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and hospitalist settings
  • Strong knowledge of labor and delivery procedures
  • Ability to manage high-acuity obstetric cases, including emergent situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Capability to respond efficiently during 24-hour shifts
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working with Level III NICU environments
  • Familiarity with Family Medicine residency rotations
  • Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
  • Involvement in community or private practice settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of OB/GYN residency program
  • Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience or equivalent
Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work 24-hour shifts starting December 31, 2025
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
  • Willingness to travel or relocate within Visalia, CA area (if applicable)
  • Ability to provide backup coverage via community providers during emergencies

This opportunity offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $234.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program.
