Kforce has a client in need of a Project Manager in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Drive initiatives with quick turnaround and strict deadlines
- Take ownership of tasks and proactively manage deliverables-avoid a passive approach
- Manage the book of work for infrastructure projects
- Provide regular reporting and status updates to stakeholders
- Facilitate Kanban boards and lead retrospectives
- Conduct weekly backlog grooming sessions
- Assist the team in resolving blockers, including CAB (Change Advisory Board) processes
- Ensure team adherence to Agile principles and best practices
- Organize and run calls, meetings, and stand-ups
- Train team members on processes and tools
- Utilize JIRA for tracking tasks, progress, and metrics
- Operate in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with the Snowflake team (Cloud Data Platform)
- Support infrastructure services by providing lifecycle maintenance for internal products
- Onboard users onto the Snowflake platform
- Maintain and enhance platform capabilities
- Manage and optimize connections between Snowflake and other tools
- 5+ years of experience in PM/SM roles
- Background in BSA/BA with Agile experience
- Agile Knowledge: Scrum, Kanban, backlog grooming
- Tools: JIRA
- Infrastructure Understanding: IDP process, infra processes, ARB processes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
